If you’re a current SHOT Show NSSF Member-exhibitor and requested a booth change for the 2018 show, we’re excited to announce that this year’s phone calls to effect possible changes will take place Wednesday, May 17 through Friday, May 19. If you’ve requested a booth change, you will be sent an email during the last week of April detailing your phone appointment time during these dates (all calls will be made between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Pacific time). NSSF Members will be contacted first, with any remaining opportunities for non-members being offered their chance to change booth locations in the following weeks.
“As always, we want to emphasize that it’s critical for exhibitors seeking booth changes to be prepared to answer their phone at their appointed time. The better the adherence to the schedule, the better we can satisfy those requests,” said Jeff Pressman, President of ConvExx, NSSF’s show management partner.
We expect this year’s process to be easier than last year’s, when the phone calls unfortunately coincided with the NRA Annual Meetings, and we will allow for exhibitors who miss their call to call us back. However, as space is very limited, please understand that we will move on to other call appointments while we await your return call and space changes will continue to be made during that wait.
Because we expect a fast and smooth response to this year’s booth change requests, we will send an email the night before the call appointment time to those still on the waiting list notifying those individuals that their booth change requests cannot be honored.
“Booth changes promise a better show for those exhibitors needing to alter locations or booth size, but these shifts also helps keep the floor fresh and updated for attendees,” emphasized Pressman. “We appreciate everyone’s patience with the booth change process and their commitment to the phone call schedule, and we’re looking forward to accommodating as many exhibitors as possible.”
